FAQs
Can anyone be a TV Presenter?
We believe that once you understand the principles of communication through the camera lens you can become, with practice, as good as you want to be.
Some people take to it quicker than others but as long as you are committed, focused and have a sharp mind there is no reason why you can't present.
Do you have to be good looking to be a TV Presenter?
Not really. There are people working on Television who have got there because of their looks, but there are many more who are there because of their personality and talent.
Am I too old to work on TV?
Do you see people your age working on Television? Think of them. Yes it's true, there are more jobs for younger people but there are also more people applying for those jobs.
I wouldn't know where to start when it comes to finding TV Presenter work, can you help?
We specialise in helping people start a career in the TV industry and on our courses we will explain how to market you with CV's, letters, publicity photos etc as well as who to contact and where to find those listings for TV Presenting work.
I get so nervous in front of the camera, in fact the thought of it scares me to death. Will I be OK?
This is absolutely normal, in fact some students describe it as fear but, after training with us, find the confidence and ability to go on and succeed. We also find that students on our courses bond very quickly and make friends and contact that stay with them throughout their careers.
